Born in Australia. Studied at Melbourne University Conservatorium of Music (H. Touzeau) and at Vienna University of Music, (Soloists Diploma under André Navarra).
Recipient of various scholarships, prizes and awards. Masterclasses with A.Navarra, P. Fournier, A. Bylsma and S. Palm.
Lifelong study of the principles of flow in life and in music. Attended courses on practising in flow with A. Burzik, Germany.
Professor at the Voralberg State Conservatorium, Feldkirch, Austria since 1974 (teaching Cello, Chamber Music, Flow, Classical Improvisation for Strings, Art of Teaching). Passionate chamber musician. Duo for Cello and Literature (with actress Helga Pedross).
Cellist with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of Vorarlberg, Camerata Zürich, etc. Solo, chamber music and improvisation concerts in Australia, England, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France and Germany.
